Monique
has paved this field of public relations, advertising, marketing
and promotions for years. She spent several years working
as a Regional Marketing Manager for Fortune 500 companies
before setting out to start her own business. In 1999 she
launched Corporate Link Professional Services which provides
services for small businesses and non-profits. Because of the
great need in the entertainment industry, they developed a
subsidiary organization which now provides Public Relation
and Marketing services to the elite in Entertainment.
The Savvy Agency, Inc now serves more than 65 national
entertainers and boasts their award producing agency. Monique
has been responsible for nominating and producing award
winning clients with the NAACP Image Awards, The Grammy’s,
Velocity Magazine Awards, The Stellar Awards and many others.
She has been published in leading magazines and has appeared
and been featured on national radio and talk shows. She has
also been recognized as one of Chicago's Under 30 upcoming
successful business entrepreneurs in Craine’s Business, recipient
of Dr. Barbara Sizemore Leadership and Service Award and has
been nominated and received many outstanding and notable
awards for her leadership and service both in the community
and business.
Most recently she served on the Grassroots Fundraising
Committee for the Obama for America Campaign, Board Secretary
for the Allison United Foundation for Better Living and Board
member for Josephium High School in Chicago, Illinois. She is
the founder of the Society of Leaders Emerging and current
President Emeritus, President of Lambda Omega Gamma
Christian Sorority and Founding board member for The DePaul
Black Alumni Association. Her most recent endeavor is
establishing a national non-profit that will teach youth how to
develop, manage and build their own business. Her hopes are
that this organization will motivate youth to pursue their dreams of
entrepreneurship, while teaching economic principals.
Her will to achieve comes only from her inner ability to self-reflect
while motivating herself and others to pursue their highest level
of ability. She takes great pride in helping others to achieve their
