Christian authors ventures into his new project entitled, “Beyond the prison Walls; by Grace
Came Restoration.” published Aminina Books and Publishing, LLC., in bookstores

His story and mission takes him to a desert maximum security prison visitation room full of
Nazi Low riders, Crypts, Bloods, Latin Kings, Vice-Lords, Ganger Disciples, La Raza,
Mexican Mafia, Aryan Brotherhood, and Mau Mau’s. “The congregants changed but the
message never did!” states Dr. Howard.
Startling statistics by the Bureau of Justice in 2007 reports that 2,299,116 prisoners were
held in federal or state prisons or in local jails – an increase of 1.8% from yearend 2006,
less than the average annual growth of 2.6% from 2000-2006. At midyear 2007 there were
4,618 black male sentenced prisoners per 100,000 black males in the United States,
compared to 1,747 Hispanic male sentenced prisoners per 100,000 Hispanic males and
773 white male sentenced prisoners per 100,000 white males. Each and every person has
been impacted by a loved one, family member or friend who has been incarcerated. Who
will lead this cause of restoring a generation of brotherhood?
Dr. Howard’s mission became clear. His destiny and purpose took him on a two thousand
miles exodus. He was removed from the pulpit of a Midwest inner city store-front church
and placed behind a metal portable podium of a prison visitation room in the desert
Southwest. That was just the genesis of his y re-assignment as it would also eventually
include clothes, cars, and home among other things. He would be humbled, restored, and
ministered to and directed to preach a Holy-Ghost inspired message of unequivocal total
repentance to murders, arm-robbers, gang members, assassins, drug dealers, racists,
drug users, and other criminals housed there.
The book emphasizes and uses scripture for the foundation and impacts the direction of
Dr. Howard’s Ministry. “The spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord has
anointed me to preach good tidings to the meek. To bind up the brokenhearted: to preach
freedom to the captives; and to open the prison doors to the prisoners.” (Isaiah 61:1 King
